Once again, Pope Francis’ straight talk is making waves in the media. Two Vaticanisti, Andrea Tornielli and Giacomo Galeazzi, highlight his forceful condemnation of gender theory in a recent Italian book entitled Pope Francis: This Economy Kills, (Questa economia uccide), not yet available in English.
Last January, in a press conference during his return from the Philippines, Francis condemned the efforts to colonize developing countries with gender ideology. KENNEWICK, Wash. — A Christian florist from Washington who is in jeopardy of losing her business, home and life savings after a judge found her guilty of discrimination this week for declining to fulfill an order for a same-sex ceremony has rejected an offer to settle the matter if she promises to service homosexual “weddings” in the future.

That led to then premier Dalton McGuinty cancelling its implementation mere hours after his own cabinet ministers had been praising it to the skies.

ST. JOHN’S, Newfoundland, February 12, 2015 (LifeSiteNews.com) – A Supreme Court judge in Newfoundland says the province discriminated against a marriage commissioner who was forced to resign in 2005 after she refused to conduct same-sex “weddings.”
Newfoundland Supreme Court Justice Alphonsus E. Faour said that the province’s conduct was “a prima facie case of religious discrimination” on the basis of Desirée A. Dichmont’s religious beliefs.
In his February 9 ruling, he ordered the province’s Human Rights Tribunal to give a full hearing to a complaint by Dichmont complaint that the province violated her religious and conscience rights. Continue reading
