Once again, Pope Francis’ straight talk is making waves in the media. Two Vaticanisti, Andrea Tornielli and Giacomo Galeazzi, highlight his forceful condemnation of gender theory in a recent Italian book entitled Pope Francis: This Economy Kills, (Questa economia uccide), not yet available in English.

Last January, in a press conference during his return from the Philippines, Francis condemned the efforts to colonize developing countries with gender ideology. In one of the interviews provided in this new book, which had already been partially published but is only now made fully available by Tornielli and Galeazzi. Francis expands upon that condemnation. [We are happy to pass on this appeal received from John-Henry Weston, Editor in
Chief of LifeSite News.]

As a father who lives in Ontario, I am outraged by the shockingly graphic and morally and physically dangerous sex-ed curriculum that our government has just unveiled, and which it intends to foist on our schools, including our faith-based schools!

For the sake of our children, this program must be stopped.

That led to then premier Dalton McGuinty cancelling its implementation mere hours after his own cabinet ministers had been praising it to the skies.

Now, five years later, Premier Kathleen Wynne is re-introducing the same curriculum into classrooms this fall, with minor changes and little meaningful participation by parents. Continue reading
