TORONTO, April 24, 2015 (LifeSiteNews.com) — A lesbian teacher ‘married’ to another woman revealed at a pro-gay teachers’ conference earlier this month how she teaches grade 4-5 students to accept homosexuality through what she called “social justice” math. Continue reading →
Alaska lawmakers are moving forward with a bill that would bar Planned Parenthood outreach programs from teaching sex education in public schools and allow parents to opt their children out of sex education classes and standardized testing.
Proponents of the bill, SB 89, say the legislation is about protecting parents’ freedom to “direct the education of a child,” according to the bill’s text.
“Parents have rights, parents have always had rights, those rights have never been extinguished, it’s the basis of what our country is built upon,” state Sen. Mike Dunleavy (R-Mat-Su Valley), who introduced the bill, toldKTUU. . . . .
April 7, 2015 (LifeSiteNews.com) — Children across Canada are being asked to wear a pink shirt to school tomorrow on the “Day of Pink” to “celebrate diversity” and end “bullying, discrimination, homophobia, transphobia, and transmisogyny.” While lauding efforts to end bullying in school, one critic is warning parents that the event is not actually about bullying.
“The Day of Pink is simply an excuse to promote homosexuality,” Gwen Landolt, national vice-president of Real Women of Canada, told LifeSiteNews. Continue reading →
[We are happy to pass on this appeal received from John-Henry Weston, Editor in

Dear . . . .
As a father who lives in Ontario, I am outraged by the shockingly graphic and morally and physically dangerous sex-ed curriculum that our government has just unveiled, and which it intends to foist on our schools, including our faith-based schools!
That’s why I’m asking you to join thousands of other concerned Canadian parents and citizens in signing this petition, which is starting to go viral right now, demanding that the Ontario government pull this program.
Middle school tries to sneak in “gay” assembly — but MassResistance intervenes!
Pressures school – which finally notifies parents
POSTED: January 16, 2015
A middle school in suburban Boston clandestinely scheduled an assembly to introduce and recruit students to the school’s new “gay-straight alliance” club — without parental notification. But after MassResistance intervened, the school relented and notified parents about the time and nature of the assembly.
Ontario’s lesbian Premier, Kathleen Wynne, has specifically requested that the proposed sex-education curriculum slated for all schools next fall include a component teaching kids about giving sexual “consent” from “the very earliest stages.” Continue reading →
Teachers’ unions in Florida continue to threaten the educational opportunity of thousands of the state’s most vulnerable children.
But there is some good news: Last week, Leon County Circuit Court Judge George S. Reynolds III granted parents of these children the right to intervene on behalf of their children’s scholarships, which are awarded through the corporate tuition tax credit scholarship program. Continue reading →
Calgary mayor Naheed Nenshi declared last week that any opposition to imposing Gay-Straight Alliances on Alberta schools was motivated by hatred on the part of unwelcoming “hillbillies” who embarrass Alberta on the international stage.
His Worship is obviously not familiar with the the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which expressly states that “Parents have a prior right to choose the kind of education that shall be given to their children.” This basic human right of all parents, to protect their own children from being indoctrinated into an ideology that undermines the traditions and morality which parents teach their children at home, is no less important than other human rights, like the right to a fair trial before an impartial judge, or the right to own and enjoy one’s property.
Alberta Premier Jim Prentice has put a controversial bill dealing with gay clubs in schools on hold, because of opposition within his own caucus.
The opposition is coming, reportedly, from small-“l” liberals who think the bill doesn’t go far enough to protect homosexual students from bullying, and not from Christians or social conservatives who believe the bill goes too far, in particular by removing parents’ right to withdraw their children from classes dealing with homosexuality.
